Privacy Policy
How we collect, use and protect your personal data.
Last updated: 6 November 2026
Velomove (“we”, “our”) operates the website velomoveaccess.com (the “Service”). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use the Service.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following information when you submit a contact or quote request form:
- Name, company, email address, phone number, country
- Vehicle make and model you are inquiring about
- Any message content you provide
2. How We Use Your Information
Velomove uses your data solely to respond to your enquiry, prepare quotations, fulfil orders, and provide after-sales support. We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties.
3. Cookies
The Service uses only essential cookies required for site operation. We do not deploy advertising or third-party tracking cookies. If LiteSpeed Cache or analytics is enabled in the future, this notice will be updated accordingly.
4. Data Retention
Quote requests are retained for up to 24 months for warranty and service purposes, after which they are deleted unless you have an active business relationship with us.
5. Your Rights (GDPR / PIPL)
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and to data portability. Contact us at the email below to exercise these rights.
6. Legal Basis for Processing
We process personal data only where a lawful basis applies: to take steps at your request before entering a supply contract, to perform that contract, to comply with accounting, customs and export-control obligations, or on the basis of our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries and preventing fraud. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.
7. Who Receives Your Data
Enquiry details are visible only to the sales and engineering staff handling your request. Where an order proceeds, we share only the information necessary to fulfil it with logistics providers, customs brokers, payment processors and the manufacturing partner responsible for the goods. Each recipient is bound by confidentiality and may not use the data for its own marketing. We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not disclose it to advertising networks.
8. International Data Transfers
Because we serve export markets, your information may be stored or accessed in a country other than your own, including China and the country of the manufacturing partner. Where a transfer crosses a border we apply contractual confidentiality terms, access controls and data minimisation; you may request details of the safeguards applicable to your enquiry by writing to the address in section 14.
9. How We Protect Your Data
Submissions are carried over TLS. Access to enquiry records is limited to named staff, protected by authentication and reviewed periodically. Quote correspondence is retained in a business system with routine backups. While no internet transmission is completely secure, we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, and we will notify you and the relevant authority of a personal-data breach where the law requires it.
10. Automated Decision-Making
We do not use your enquiry data for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects. Quotations, fitment decisions and credit terms are reviewed by a person. Analytics, if enabled in the future, will be aggregate and non-identifying, and this notice will be updated before any such processing begins.
11. Children’s Privacy
This Service is a business-to-business catalogue and quotation channel. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact the address in section 14 and we will delete it.
12. Third-Party Websites and Messaging
Our pages may link to WhatsApp, email or other external services, and our news articles may cite third-party sources such as United Nations or World Health Organization publications. Those services have their own privacy policies; once you leave this Site, their terms apply rather than ours. Opening a WhatsApp chat may disclose your phone number to that provider.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our systems, suppliers or legal obligations change. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. Material changes will be highlighted on this page; continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. Previous versions are available on request.
